Sapanca 4 Mevsim Dağ Evi

We’ve returned to this villa four times in a year and have been happy each time. It’s spotless, the owners are lovely and friendly, and they take care of everything. The house has all the things you’d expect, plus more. Many thanks to Mr. Serdar and his father.

Mr. Serdar and his family were sincere, understanding, and very helpful. We were a group of four adults, two children, and a baby, and had a really enjoyable stay. The house is thoughtfully arranged, with two bathrooms and toilets, working air conditioners for both cooling and heating, and a reasonably sized kitchen with plenty of utensils and complete appliances. Outside, the garden has room to spread out, with lots of seating and parking in the yard. The pool is spacious enough, measuring 3 by 6 m and 145 cm deep. We did have a couple of small issues: one toilet was hard to flush because of a drain problem, and the bidet spray in the other toilet didn’t have enough pressure. The heated pool reached 33-35 degrees, but that wasn’t quite warm enough in winter or on cool evenings. Still, when we asked them to heat it for the children after we arrived, they kindly did. There are a few minor shortcomings, as you’d expect, but it’s a place we’d feel comfortable choosing again.

Feels like we wasted our money. The house was nothing like the pictures, and hygiene was basically nonexistent. The supposed 30-degree heated pool was only lukewarm. At another place we visited, the pool was steaming hot, so this wasn’t anywhere near 30 degrees. When we made tea on arrival, the cups were stained, and the pots and plates were filthy. The bed sheets, comforters, everything smelled, and thank goodness I’d brought a duvet cover. One bathroom had no hand soap. The inside of the washing machine was dirty, and the toilet was dusty and not clean at all.

The house was spotless and clearly well cared for, and the hosts were helpful from the minute we arrived. We had a lovely time there with our family, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
