Sapanca Aqua Wellness Spa Hotel

We had a ton of fun, and this hotel is especially good for young kids. My children and I went between the water slides, pools, playground and kids' play room. We also watched the outdoor kids' movie on two nights of our stay. The staff were friendly, accommodating, attentive and sweet with my kids. I liked that several lifeguards supervised the pool, and they were alert and professional. The food worked well for the kids. Mine are picky, but they enjoyed the chicken nuggets, pizza and fettuccine Alfredo. My husband and I thought the izgara dishes were very good. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of hot and cold choices and different dishes offered each day. The gym was okay, but there wasn't much variety, just a couple of cardio and weight machines. Getting around town isn't very walkable, so you'll need a car or perhaps public transport. Otherwise, I highly recommend this charming hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. The family-oriented staff were amazing, customer service was excellent, and the location was great. The pool and slides were lovely, and everything was always clean. Rooms were decent, with working WiFi. Breakfast was fresh every morning and had plenty of options. The indoor pool and spa area were very good, and the food was high quality. It was a very pleasant place to stay, with really nice staff. One tip for travellers: bring a swimming cap, as it's required in the pool. The WiFi could be better. It wasn't enough for Zoom calls, but that was a minor issue compared with all the positives. The water park was definitely fun, and most of the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, though there were exceptions. Bin yamin was especially helpful and would do anything for us. He's an asset to the hotel, and I'd give him a star all to himself. The woman at reception with long blonde hair was okay, but she needs to learn more English to communicate better. Breakfast was good, but cleanliness in the restaurant was a problem too. The floor was never cleaned properly. I know it's a busy resort, but it shouldn't be that dirty. The main guy serving food had a strange attitude and never smiled. One day, while I waited for breakfast, he put food on tables where nobody was sitting and came to ours last. It made no sense to me. The rooms weren't properly cleaned after check-in. A small piece of tissue stayed on the floor for our whole six-night trip. The bathrooms weren't cleaned very thoroughly either, just a towel change and, I suppose, a wipe of the sink. The shared bathrooms by the restaurant were horrendous. I didn't see anyone using them, which made me wonder what people do when they need to go 😳. I have mixed feelings. It's an okay place for a day or two at most if you want to have fun at the water park, though I'm sure there are better resorts.
