Nevali Hotel

The one good part was breakfast. On arrival, they said they hadn't received our Booking reservation, so we were put in a different room. It was spacious, but smelled of cigarettes. People had smoked in the bathroom despite the smoking alarms, and there was no ventilation to clear the terrible smell. When I asked to move, they said the hotel was full. The receptionist said they'd bring spray, but it never arrived. We had to leave the windows open all night in winter, and using the air conditioning to heat the room brought in even more smoke smell. We slept terribly.

The room was huge, clean, and nicely designed, and breakfast was delicious with a wonderful view. The spa and pool were great too, though a few lightbulbs need changing. Check-in was ultra fast. The hotel can look a bit shabby at first, as if it's fallen on hard times, but the important things are done well. We had a great time here.

The location worked perfectly for the airport transfer we needed. The Havas Bus stop, which is where the service starts, is a 3-4 minute walk away, so buses were empty or nearly empty. The hotel also sits by a major interchange, with lots of traffic around, and the metro bus station is right next door. We had a great view from our window. Breakfast had a wide buffet selection, and guests could use the spa, Turkish Hamam, and swimming pools for free. Our arrival was smooth, and the courteous staff took our bags as soon as we got out of the taxi at the entrance. Reception was friendly, smiling, and efficient, and our bags were brought up to the room. The room was really big, with plenty of space to walk around, and the bathroom was huge too. There was a jacuzzi, and drinking water was free, as much as we wanted. Nevali Hotel is said to be a five star property, and based on the services we used during our stay, it lived up to that expectation. An excellent stay. Location, comfort, staff, and service were all 5/5.

We came back from Canada after a year because of hotel manager Seyami. He made our 2024 trip special by upgrading us to a family suite, and did the same again in 2025. The kids only wanted to stay here. He let us choose a room and showed us three, all of them amazing. Many thanks to him. Breakfast, service, housekeeping, indoor pool, and location were all 10/10. We'll definitely return!
