Ögel Apart Otel

Cemil, Adam, and Ibrahim bey were wonderful hosts, helping us with everything we needed during our five-night February stay this year. The hotel is new and felt comfortable and cozy. It's a good option for skiing in sarıkamış, about five minutes by car from the lifts, with a shuttle provided. We'll definitely come back on our next trip :)

The rooms are clean and new, and the included breakfast and dinner were really delicious. There's a sauna and a pool, plus a ski room. The hotel is close to the slopes and can shuttle you there and back whenever you want, even if you're traveling alone. It only takes five minutes. They can also arrange airport pickup and drop-off. The staff were attentive, especially Mr. Murat and Mr. Cemil. I can recommend it with confidence.

We made full use of the open buffet breakfast and dinner, plus afternoon tea, and enjoyed our five days from start to finish. Evenings had table tennis tournaments too. If you're confident, give them a try, but the opponents are tough :) After skiing we relaxed in the sauna and Turkish bath, and the rooms were warm and comfortable. Free shuttles ran from the hotel to the ski center throughout the day. Thanks to the managers, Mr. Adem, Mr. Murat, and Mr. Cemil, for looking after us. Only missing detail: no strawberries in the dessert in January :)

We picked Snowland Hotel for a snow holiday in Sarıkamış with three couples, and had a warm, friendly stay. Adem and Murat deserve a special thanks for handling each request personally and helping us throughout. Their rides to and from the ski center whenever we wanted made getting to the slopes easy. One day, they even took us into the city center to buy cheese, which was thoughtful and hospitable. Breakfast and dinner were tasty, and having free tea available for much of the day was a lovely touch after skiing in the cold. The staff were attentive from beginning to end. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here in Sarıkamış.
