Breakfast overlooking the sea was satisfying and really enjoyable, and Akkum beach is quite close. The owners let us use the pool at their other hotel, which was great for my daughter :) The family running this hotel were attentive and very friendly, and the place was clean and comfortable. Thanks so much for the service. I recommend it.

Breakfast with a sea view every morning was one of the best parts of our holiday. It was fresh, delicious, and had plenty of variety. The evening chats with the staff were lovely too, and our children played games and made wonderful friends with the other guests. The hotel's warm smiles and hospitality made the whole stay even better. We spent three weeks at Akkum Hotel 2, two adults and two children, and it was one of the best holidays we've had. We had a double room with a balcony, spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The children were happy, and we felt right at home. We didn't have a single bad experience. Everything was clean and well organized, and the atmosphere was peaceful. The location worked well too. Sağcık Harbor is just five minutes away, and nearby beach clubs are an easy walk. For comfort and location, it's a great choice. Akkum Hotel 2 feels like a warm, family-friendly home to us now. I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to families and anyone looking for a peaceful stay. It's become a special place we'll return to every summer. 🌿✨🌊

The owners were attentive and friendly, and we really enjoyed our two days here last summer. Breakfast was quite adequate, and there's plenty of parking at the hotel. We like staying by the sea, walking down to it, and driving into the center of Sığacık. The hotel is close to the sea on foot, though the walk back uphill can be a little tiring. We had a car, so we drove to the city center, which is very close, but you'll need parking there. Taxis are available too, and you'll need some form of transportation to get to the center. If you have a car, this is a good option. The view is amazing, so definitely choose a sea view room if you stay here. Thanks, we had a very enjoyable trip.

CORRECTION TO THE MANAGEMENT'S RESPONSE!!! We're leaving a firm no to coming back. We chose the hotel based on reviews, but the management replied to my criticism with false claims that we made noise at night. We only came to Sığacık for a day. We ate at two places inside the castle, shopped at local stores, explored the surroundings, then returned by taxi around 3 pm. We slept and had breakfast before leaving. How could we have made noise? I've stayed in hotels at home and abroad for 30 years, and anyone can see from my reviews that I'm a traveler. I know guests shouldn't make noise. What the management should know is to respond professionally when guests raise problems and address the shortcomings. The basics were missing: we asked for slippers and they didn't have them, and they also had no cardboard cups when we wanted coffee to take in the taxi as we left. Breakfast was two kinds of cheese, boiled eggs, and olives. We don't expect a big spread at a small hotel, but two cheeses is unacceptable. We arrived by taxi. The center is about a 25-minute walk, and getting there requires a taxi, so before checking in we asked if we could get one if needed. Later, after settling in, we asked the manager for a taxi number and were told they had none. A regular person might not have a taxi number, but I'll leave it to other travelers to judge whether a hotel should have one for guests. In their response, they said, "we made noise at night," which is simply false. They also wrote, "It's a good thing we didn't provide cardboard cups." I leave that for other travelers and vacationers to judge. My answer is, "We didn't need your cardboard cups." I invite the hotel to be more professional and show hospitality, one of the most valued qualities in our society.

The view and the reviews brought us here, and the room was clean with a beautiful view. We stayed for that view even after realizing the hotel is a long way from Sığacık center and needs a taxi if you don't have a car. But there were problems. We asked for slippers and were told they were stuck in transit. There was a kettle but no water, coffee, or cups, and it didn't feel like anyone had prepared for us even though it was a holiday. We heard an argument two minutes after entering, and management said their children were arguing. Fighting and children's voices were unpleasant for people looking for a relaxing break. We have three kids and own a hotel, but don't subject guests to that. The restaurant was also loud, with constant backgammon sounds and laughter. We came for peace and quiet, and a lot of the noise seemed to come from the owners' relatives. More attention is needed. Breakfast was buffet style but there was almost nothing to choose from. We arrived around 10 and found only 3 pastries. We took 2, then more were made for themselves but not added to the buffet, which was odd :)) On the way out, we wanted coffee in cardboard cups and were told they had none :) Safe travels, and I hope you enjoy your hotel with its view :) P.S. to the owner's reply: Don't try to make us seem like we hate children just because we complained about the noise. I hope children always smile and have fun. The world belongs to them, but I don't have to listen to your kids shouting and fighting. You know we didn't miss breakfast. We came around 9:45, so there was no need to write that to make us look bad. You seemed eager for us to leave, but when we asked for cardboard cups, a taxi was already at the door. You must have a wild way of thinking to begrudge us a cup. It seems you have no interest in improving after these comments. You don't accept criticism and resort to false claims instead. You're so indifferent that you can't even tell that the noises you mentioned didn't come from us. We reached the hotel very late, around 3:00 AM, and went to sleep. There's no need to sink to such a low level with false claims. I advise you to come to your senses. I hope your false accusation comes back to haunt you :)
