Keskin Apart Hotel

We paid 4,500 TL for the day and lost our 9,000 TL deposit. My family and I were there for a holiday, but we didn’t even stay one night. We took a bath, then rushed to another apartment. There were bugs when we entered, the windows were half open, and my children were frightened and crying that they didn’t want to stay. The couches, beds, and floors were filthy, and the bathroom only had cold water, no hot water at all. There wasn’t a single family there. Even though they knew I was with my family, they didn’t want noise at the pool. I was also told they had their own beach, but when I went, I was told the municipality had confiscated it. We left and asked a gas station worker to recommend a hostel. He asked how we’d ended up there. I would never recommend it to families. I believe the positive reviews are written by people they know or by the owners themselves.

The location is very good, and there are two friendly, decent people working there. The rooms, though, are terrible. There were insects, flies, and dirt everywhere, so I used two cans of insect repellent. There’s nothing nice about the room. If you try to sleep without cleaning it yourself, you’ll catch germs.

The staff are helpful and friendly, and the prices are affordable, but the place is neglected and run-down. You can judge the smell from the air conditioning and the state of the bathroom for yourself. Don’t order breakfast: they charge 250 TL for two people and give you half a tomato, half a cucumber, and a mediocre egg. You’d be better off pitching a tent on a beach with showers.
