We spent five days here, enjoying the quiet street in the old part of town and the mountain views from our comfortable room. The garden beneath the fruit trees was where we had most breakfasts and our evening meals, with very fresh local fruit and vegetables. Dogan Bey and his lovely sister were gentle, thoughtful, and kind hosts. The Basilica of St John, a beautiful mosque, and the excellent town museum are all an easy walk away, and Dogan Bey can arrange transport to Ephesus and other sites when requested. A peaceful place for anyone looking for quiet and genuine Turkish hospitality.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s in a great location, and breakfast was good. The shower wasn’t hot, though, so I’d say it’s fine for a night or two.
