We had such a nice night's stay and will definitely return to beautiful Sirince. The room was very clean, breakfast was perfect, and the hotel felt cosy and friendly. Durmus, the owner, looked after us really well and was so attentive and kind. Thanks so much for the lovely stay and for the oranges!! A lovely view that makes you forget the city, and a host who welcomes you warmly.
The owner was helpful and did his best to sort out parking, and he was pleasant to talk to. Still, the stay didn't work for us. The room was tiny and dirty, with lots of hair in the bathroom, toilet, and on the bed as soon as we walked in. We arrived late and didn't bring it up then. The water was cold, so we couldn't shower. About the owner's response: we chose a small room, and that was our mistake as customers. I can own that, and I think the owner should also acknowledge the criticism. Calling a five-minute shower a "Turkish bath experience" to defend it wasn't pleasant or appropriate. We're pet owners and know the difference between human and animal hair, so the mocking denial wasn't okay either. A properly cleaned room shouldn't have hair on the bed and toilet. We came for accommodation, and we weren't satisfied with the service.
You don't feel like a stranger around Durmuş abi in Şirince. He's warm and sincere from the start, and talking with him feels easy and natural, almost like you've known him for years. You don't meet business owners like that often, which made the experience especially valuable.
We felt like family from the moment we arrived at Selince Pension until we left. It was as if we were going from our own home and back again, like we'd been born and raised in Şirince. Staying there was wonderful, with close communication and no need to travel far. Ayhan Işık became our absolute favorite, and our canine companion guided us around while our cats were our darlings. Commander Durmuş abi was like an older brother, always smiling and looking after us with brotherly care. He's the best father and brother I know. Families and animal lovers should choose this place, it really has a family atmosphere. And please, don't forget our cats when you leave!
