TUI BLUE Ephesus

The mosquitoes were the one real downside. We tried wipes, sprays, and diffusers without much luck, though the shops sell a decent after-bite spray. The Wednesday beach party from 9pm to midnight was a huge hit with all our kids. Evening shows with the TUI reps ran from 7:25pm until 9 or 10, then the pool bar closed, which helped get the little ones to bed. For a later drink, the beach bar stayed open until midnight, and the indoor bar was open around the clock, though you had to pay after midnight. We’ve just finished our second week at TUI blu Ephesus, and we loved it just as much as the first visit. It was 28-29 degrees every day, with lots of shaded spots for little ones, activities all day and evening for kids and teens, and a great waterpark. May might be less busy than August. The TUI reps were great, especially lily and hayley, who my son adored, and the shows were fantastic. Everything was very clean and tidy. We enjoyed the food, the kids tried all sorts, and our room was clean every day, with comfy beds and pillows, fresh towels, and bottled water. All the staff were lovely, including Reece, lily, and Hayley. We’re already looking forward to coming back for a third time. 10/10.

BELGIN from housekeeping made our daughter’s day by decorating the room for her birthday and making it look so lovely. And Seval in the Oasis was wonderful with our big group, always smiling, helpful, and giving us such attentive service. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for her. Please pass on my thanks for helping make the holiday special for me and my family. She deserves employee of the month for April!

The kids loved the aqua park, with slides and options for every age, and the pools were great too. We were well placed in the resort, which is nicely laid out, and our garden-view rooms were a good size. Check-in on October 18 was quick, and we were taken over with our luggage in a buggy. Staff were friendly enough and easy to deal with. Drinks were good, while the food was average but there was always a decent choice. Breakfast was probably our best meal, with dinner good sometimes too. Don’t bother waiting for the midnight snack, it wasn’t worth it. The main letdown was the entertainment. We’d had one average night so far, while the shows at aqua fantasy next door were very loud. The hotel has lots of potential, but beyond the aqua park and a few activities, the kids were bored from early evening. I hope that changes. The mosquitoes were bad, and we all got bitten despite sprays and wipes, though I suppose that’s common at resorts. The facilities are great overall, and I would come back.

We were a family group of eight, ages 4 to 50, and found food and things to do for everyone. The staff were lovely all week, from the grounds crew to the entertainment team, and we didn’t meet a grumpy one. The Italian dining team made great food, and they were able to meet our granddaughter’s dietary needs, so we had a lovely family meal. Also, a special thanks to Seval at the breakfast omelette station. Keep smiling, I loved breakfast, and I know it’s a hot, busy job. We had an amazing break. Keep it up!
