Dantel Restaurant & Pension

The food was delicious. Each meze seemed better than the last, and they surprised me with a beautiful, flavorful curry. In Turkey I often have no main dish option beyond veggie guvetch, so that was a great surprise. The staff were very kind, and people in our group who had eaten at Dantel before were happy too. We had reserved just for the restaurant as a group. The only reason I didn’t give five stars was the long wait for the main dish after an electricity outage caused a kitchen delay. They didn’t tell us what was going on, and being told “it’s coming” while we waited was a little off-putting. If they’d communicated, of course we would have understood. That was the only issue, the food really is delicious.

Loved the sea and the great outdoor view. The food was delicious, portions were good, and the coffee was tasty. The staff were very, very friendly.

I only stopped in for coffee, so I can’t comment on the food. There’s a nice seating area under lush ivy, with a good view.

It feels magically peaceful, especially after the season ends when nobody’s around. It’s still warm enough then to enjoy the sea.
