We stayed at Defne Residence Selimiye in May 2023 and really loved it. The owners were caring and attentive, always ready to help with any questions, and we felt at home throughout our stay. We fell in love with both Selimiye and Defne Residence. Our apartment was cozy and comfortable, with a thoughtful interior and everything a family needs. There was also a lovely swimming pool on the grounds, with excellent views. From the apartment, we enjoyed the beautiful sea view, birdsong, and Selimiye's calm atmosphere. It was just the place to relax and recharge. The location worked well for us too. The embankment, with plenty of restaurants, was an easy walk away, and the shops we needed were within walking distance. Thank you very much!

We could have spent hours on the balcony taking in the breathtaking view over Selimiye. The location of Defne residence is hard to beat, though it is a bit of a climb from the village centre. We found it manageable, and well worth it. The infinity pool was another peaceful spot to sit and relax. The apartment was spacious, spotless, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and very well equipped. We were equally impressed by the welcome. Defne got in touch to confirm our booking soon after we reserved, then sent useful information about the area closer to our arrival. She greeted us when we arrived, and was friendly, approachable, and clearly proud of the properties. It really is first class in many ways. This is one of the most beautiful places we've visited in Turkey. We didn't want to leave and will definitely return before too long. Thank you, Defne. See you soon.

We asked Mrs. Defne if we needed to lock the building's front door, and she told us, “There is trust within the people of Selimiye.” She also said that hygiene was where she drew the line when we complimented how clean the apartment was. The facilities were top-notch, and we took her advice to try Sardunya '' restaurant. Our stay was so tranquil. Sitting on the balcony in the morning, looking out at the mountains, sea, and Selimiyes harbour as the birds sang made it hard to do anything but relax. We'll definitely come back.

I booked this for my parents. They found it quiet, comfortable, and clean, with a lovely private pool overlooking Selimiye Bay. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a slope on the way to the residence, which might be a bit difficult for older people without a car. Apart from that, I'd definitely recommend it.

We're leaving Defne Hanım's house today after a wonderful holiday. She gave us such a warm welcome and shared detailed information about Selimiye.
