Dut House Selimiye

We made beautiful memories during our 6 nights at Dut Hotel. The breakfasts were very good, especially Mr. Hasan's fantastic meals, and the cleaning ladies were friendly. We were pleased with the hotel's pet-friendly approach, and its private pier and location near the sea, restaurants, and market were a real advantage. The paddleboarding experience was the most enjoyable part of my holiday, too. It's a place that could work well for a family stay. The economy rooms were a bit small, and the wifi didn't work. On our first day, the owner, Mr. Efe, seemed tense with us, and some staff members bringing their personal relationships into view made me feel uncomfortable as a guest.

The staff were so helpful, and Aynur and Arteş made our holiday enjoyable with their conversations as well as their help. The hotel was very clean, and staff were on hand even at night to help with things like towels. Its location is great, close to the village center and easy to reach without a car. The owners were attentive and helpful too. When our air conditioner stopped working, Mr. Efe and Ms. Melike called a technician, who fixed it within an hour. Breakfast was very good, especially the chef's perfect omelet. If my wife and I return to Selimiye, Dut will be our first choice. Thank you, Dut family.

I liked that the breakfast had a good, sufficient range, without leaving me feeling like I'd overdone it after a classic buffet. The products were fresh and the food was always delicious. I'm mentioning this for those who said in earlier reviews that the selection should be bigger. Food and drinks were also served quickly throughout the day, and were high quality and tasty. We got off to a pleasant start thanks to the friendly staff and the lovely front garden by the sea. We went straight to our room, then checked in over coffee in the garden. I also really liked the bathroom products from Atelier Rebul. On the last day, I told them I wanted to charge my car. When I came back that evening, the unit was occupied. I didn't feel like waiting, so I went to bed planning to do it in the morning. By the time I woke up, my car had been charged. That was such a thoughtful gesture, and I'm very grateful. Thanks as well to Mr. Efe, who made his paddleboard available for guests even though he hadn't used it himself yet. My only criticism is that there wasn't a full-length mirror in the room.

The pier was a lovely part of our stay, with clean, comfortable loungers, and the varied breakfast kept us happy each morning. Our room was spacious enough and clean, and we could walk into the center without needing the car. We spent four days here in early September and felt very welcome, thanks to Mr. Efe, Ms. Melike, and the friendly team. I’d choose this place first if I return to Selimiye.
