We return to Hydas every summer, and always have a lovely time with friends, spending the day by the sea and evenings at the terrace bar. The rooms are clean and very nice, and breakfast on the terrace overlooking Selimiye is delicious. There's also a private pier on the beach if you'd rather stay in the bay for a swim. Later on, Hydas Bar is a great spot for music and conversation on the terrace.

The terrace is a real highlight here, with a wonderful breakfast overlooking Selimiye in the morning and, in the evening, a bar that's one of the best nightlife spots in town. The hotel is central, easy to reach, and has simple, clean rooms, its own beach, and friendly, sincere, polite staff. Selimiye itself has beautiful, clean water. Thanks again to everyone. There are a couple of things I'd improve. Our room was beside the stairs, and one window faced them, so there was some noise. The bigger issue was having to keep the curtains closed because people were moving on the stairs and there were no sheer curtains. By the second day it was getting me down. I only realized how much when I stepped into a sunlit room and thought, "Ah... finally..." We also had only liquid soap in the room, with no shampoo or shower gel. We brought our own rather than asking the hotel.
