The beach was too cold for sunbathing, so I rented a car. I think there may be a free shuttle there, though. If you mainly want a cheap break by the pool, you could have a good time here. The food was nice overall, with a little variety and one of the meats changing most nights, but the menu got repetitive. It was hard to find a table after 7, and one evening we arrived at 8:25, before the 8:45 closing time, and the food hall had already run out, so we went without dinner. The hotel shop is there, but more shops are about a ten-minute walk away. Staff were friendly, and the rooms were a good size. The shower had good pressure and reliably hot water. The beds were less comfortable: the mattress was very firm and the pillow felt rock hard. I asked for a softer one, and it was okay after they changed it. Housekeeping was poor. I often couldn’t tell if anyone had come in, since they didn’t make the beds and only straightened sheets we’d already arranged. Towels were often not replaced, and I had to call reception twice to get clean ones. The free WiFi in reception never worked. I was glad I’d bought an eSIM, or I’d have had no internet. You have to pay for WiFi in the room, and I can’t say whether that works any better. Evening entertainment was pretty minimal, mostly YouTube videos, a music quiz, and bingo, and it ended at 11. The team was short staffed, with only three people, so the on-site club never opened because they didn’t have a DJ. At midnight they switched off the lights in the entertainment area, leaving it pitch dark even if you were still having a drink outside. There’s also a downstairs bar serving cocktails, but those aren’t part of all inclusive and cost extra. The slides only opened a few times. Two people hurt their toes and backs there, so I stayed away. The wave pool wasn’t open, presumably because this was just before the season started. The main pool was freezing. I went in once and didn’t go back. We stayed for a week. It wasn’t amazing, though I had a good stay overall. They advertise the hotel as five star, but I’m confident it isn’t. Four stars at a push.

We went last September because the pools and slides looked fun, and they were. The food was good, with something new each day, but getting a table was odd because some guests had reserved theirs. Even when we came at the right time, we ended up sitting in the sun every day. Some servers kindly brought us water and utensils, while others seemed not to hear us when we asked for a fork. It also seemed like Turkish guests and people staying longer got more attention. Our room and bathroom weren’t very clean. The shower and toilet weren’t cleaned every day, so I cleaned them myself. Staff could be nice or not, depending on who was working. We paid for the room safe, but the code didn’t work. Someone tried to fix it without success. The hotel is oddly tucked into a dark alley, and I felt uncomfortable going for a walk there at night. EFE from the animation team was strange with us, rolling his eyes whenever he saw us. I was just relaxing with my husband on our romantic trip and didn’t want to dance with him. When someone politely says no, that should be fine. Yousf was nice and polite, though. Sadly, I don’t think I’d go back.

The hotel seems like it could be nice, but cleanliness and upkeep were lacking indoors and outside. You also have to pay extra for internet. There was very little to do at night, no shows or entertainment, though perhaps the season hadn’t really started. It doesn’t deserve a five-star rating. Don’t book trips through the hotel. A travel agent named Burack misleads people about excursions. We paid more than twice what the trip was actually worth.

The bartenders were friendly and good, and Fatih was always welcoming and went beyond what was expected. The entertainment manager and the whole team made the holiday amazing. Mustii, Mazlum, and Apo were fantastic, including everyone in the activities and making people feel welcome.

Daffy, Mazlum, Mustii, and Apo really made our stay, with great performances and fun evening games. They were always polite and friendly, and the entertainment team made the experience so much better. Big thanks to Fatih too for the great cocktails. We had a great time, thank you for having us :)
