Ramada Resort by Wyndham Side

The shop staff near the restaurant were extremely helpful and polite, much more welcoming than the main hotel team. The room was acceptable, but the air conditioning didn't work, the fridge was off, and there was no water provided. Entertainment and activities were limited, adding to an already underwhelming stay. At arrival, our first impression was poor: after a long journey, we asked for food, but kitchen staff were rushing to clear everything and didn't give our group of 10, including 4 children, enough time to eat. We left with barely anything. I was shocked that internet wasn't free, and that Wi-Fi was charged per device, which I wouldn't expect at a resort. Food was average with little variety, especially from lunch to dinner. Language barriers made basic requests difficult to communicate. Reception staff were particularly disappointing and showed little hospitality or friendliness. Oguz was especially unhelpful and came across as rude. I travel a lot, and this was one of the worst stays we've had. I rarely leave negative feedback, but this is the first time I've felt I needed to. I wouldn't recommend the resort.

The location is a little distant from everything, but the hotel has the food, shops, drinks, spa, and pool you need, so we couldn't complain. Our family loved the week, which went by so fast that I wished we could stay longer. The service, constant cleaning, food, and safety were all perfection. A huge thank you to Ramada for the stay, and especially to JULIE at the spa for the best massage ever. She was amazing. The facility was clean, and the massage and Hammam were 10/10. If I come back to Antalya, I'd absolutely visit Ramada again. Thanks for the service and experience. Mrs and mr khan xx

The one good thing was the warm, nice weather in late October. The hotel itself was dreadful throughout. The food and drinks were awful, and the all-inclusive setup makes sense because nobody would pay separately for them. Every dish was cold, even the soup, and there was no supper for us when we arrived, only late-night soup at 11:30 p.m. Everything was fried in some kind of evil oil that made it taste horrible. I got food poisoning on day 2 and barely ate anything for the rest of the week. After that, the bathroom wasn't cleaned. The EasyJet hotel director needs to be sacked for sending Brits here. Just horrible.

I changed my rating to two stars after a visit this morning from the guest relations manager, who was very polite and accommodating. I shared my concerns with her, and she said she'd take the necessary steps to address the complaints and improve things. It was a clear goodwill gesture from management, and I hope the hotel improves next season. For now, my rating stays at two stars. Before that visit, I felt this was probably my worst hotel experience in 30 years of traveling worldwide and staying at many brands. I deeply regretted choosing Ramada Resort Side. The cleanliness was disgraceful, food hygiene terrible, and there were stray cats everywhere, including the restaurant and main lobby. Flies were all over the food, with a serious infestation. Staff were extremely impolite. You often heard comments like, "This is not my hotel; if you do not like it, do not come back," which no guest relations staff member should say. Guest Relations handled my complaint very lightly, making it seem like this toxic culture was ingrained in management. Internet was only available in the lobby and was extremely slow. There was no internet in the rooms, and you had to pay extra for a "fast" service. The hotel needs a complete change in mindset and management.
