This will unfortunately be my first and last booking here. We waited 20 minutes at reception with no one there, then the cleaner told us to check in at the other hotel they own. We waited until around three because our room wasn't ready. We accepted a standard room, but it had no air conditioning, and there were so many mosquitoes we couldn't sleep. At three in the morning, we left for Istanbul without having slept.

We booked through Tatilsepeti. On arrival the reception was empty. We called and waited 10 minutes before someone showed up, and then they couldn't find our reservation. It took about two hours of waiting for them to locate it and clean the room. There was hardly anyone working at this hotel. Most staff were gathered at Marina Otel, 50 metres away, with someone only stopping by now and then. When we did meet staff, they were polite and friendly, but that couldn't make up for the poor staffing and planning. The room was reasonably clean, but had no air conditioning or refrigerator, a big downside in summer. After we finally got in and tried to rest, someone tried to open our door twice at different times. When we called reception, a staff member came to deal with it. It turned out someone had tried to enter with the room's spare key, and they would have gotten in if we hadn't locked the door from inside. This might work in an emergency, but it was the most disorganized and unsettling accommodation experience we've had.

We booked through trivago and arrived on August 12, 2024, but the door was locked and nobody was staying there. When we called, they sent us to Marina Hotel, which they own. The hotel we thought we had picked based on the reviews and the detailed review wasn't there at all!
