They refused to check us in after asking for a marriage certificate and we couldn't provide one. We're a foreign couple traveling around Turkey, and no hotel in any other city had asked us for this. The staff were extremely rude and unprofessional, so we drove two hours back to Mardin to avoid more trouble. Stay away if you're traveling.

We came from the US and were asked to show a marriage certificate to share a room. I'd never encountered that before. The staff were very rude and seemed very religious. If you want a Middle Eastern experience, maybe this is the place, but anyone looking for a modern hotel with open-minded people should stay elsewhere.

The only warning I'd give is that cigarette smoke could be a problem at certain hours if you're sensitive to it. Otherwise, the welcome from the staff and the people of Siverek was a real surprise. We stopped here on the way from Nemrut to Gobeklitepe, visiting from the USA, and they were so excited to meet us that they upgraded us to a king suite. We were genuinely sad to leave. I think travelers will soon discover this place, and we'll be back.

The welcome from the staff was warm. I think this is the best hotel in town. We saw it listed as 3 star, but it should be 5. Highly recommended.
