Gural Premier Tekirova

We’re going back this year for our third visit. The rooms are spacious and clean, and there’s plenty for kids to do in the daytime and evening. The food is excellent, the staff are nice, and the evening shows are great. A really good hotel for families.

My main concern was the amount of food being wasted. At meals, many large families loaded up their tables and left nearly all of it uneaten. It was sad to see, and seems preventable with rules or fines. I wish resorts paid more attention to this. It isn't the staff's fault. Even though all-inclusive holidays usually aren't my thing, I had an amazing time here. The pools are accessible, service is great, and there are lots of food and drink options, so you never go hungry. The beach and great gym were highlights, and it suits people of all ages. Don't let some of the petty, rude reviews put you off.

This is a very family-focused place, with lots of children and activities for them, so it may not suit a solo traveler wanting peace and quiet or an adults-only atmosphere. Güral Premier Tekirova is exceptionally clean and well maintained, with lush gardens, good facilities, and a thoughtful layout. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and professional. The beach has pebbles rather than sand, and the water is incredibly clear and lovely for swimming. Water shoes could come in handy. It's a beautiful setting and a high-quality hotel, and I'd recommend it to families and anyone who likes a lively atmosphere.

The pools with slides were closed every day from 12 PM to 5 PM. Staff said each time that a baby had had an “accident,” and after it happened daily, it felt like a lazy excuse. We used to love this hotel and recommend it to many families, who came because of our word. Now it feels as if everything has gone downhill. Staff didn't speak a word of English, and they seemed unfriendly and uninterested in their jobs. At the restaurant we were constantly trying to find someone for cutlery, water glasses, or even water. Basic service was nowhere to be found, and waving people over became part of every meal. At the beach restaurant I waited 50 min with 3 small kids for 4 cheeseburgers. After 50 min, they still didn't know what I'd ordered. The evening entertainment was poor compared with previous years, with barely anything to enjoy and a dull atmosphere. This was nothing like the Turkish hospitality we used to admire and remember. Such a shame. We'll definitely never come back.
