Vicenza Hotel

We got a very good deal, better than we expected. The building is modern, in excellent condition, and well maintained. The property was exceptionally clean, and the staff were helpful and professional the whole time. Breakfast was very good, and the location is outstanding: once you step outside, everything is an easy walk. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were amazingly clean, and the staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful. It's close to the trams and within walking distance of most places of interest. Great location. We'll keep coming back.

The morning receptionist was courteous and helpful. Beyond that, I'd avoid the hotel's half-board option. It feels like a rip-off: you get a fixed menu with low-quality food that's tasteless and lacking flavor.

The pool is a nice extra for a city hotel, though it's quite small, with only a handful of loungers. It got crowded during the day, but we were there in the busy summer season, so that's understandable. Street noise carries at night, as you'd expect in the city centre, but it didn't affect our sleep. The main downside for me was how sound travels through the hotel's open interior. We could hear banging doors and noise from every floor. I stayed in July with my 7yr old son. The room, bathroom, and rest of the hotel were tidy and well kept, and housekeeping did a good job each day. The photos on booking sites accurately showed the hotel's current condition. Breakfast had plenty of choices, even at busy times. Every staff member we met was excellent, friendly, helpful, and spoke excellent English. It's well placed for exploring the city, about a 4-minute walk to the tram and a 20-30-minute walk to some main attractions. Good value for money, and I'd recommend it.
