Rixos Premium Tekirova - The Land of Legends

My wife and I were given a free room upgrade, thanks to the great staff. The food was delicious, with quality ingredients and lots of choice, and the pools were amazing. I was sad that I couldn't rent a villa because they're still under construction, but we'll be back this summer to try one. A big thanks to the 24/7 restaurant waiter who kept bringing me burgers at 4am. You're the real boss. Absolutely amazing place, would recommend it 1000%.

I felt more relaxed here than I have in ages. The rooms, food, beds, staff, gardens, and beach were all amazing, and the price for the quality is very good. The three buffets were great, including for vegetarians. Bars served good quality drinks from familiar brands, and there was also a place for Starbucks drinks, two ice cream spots, and a pastry shop with good coffee, cakes, pastries, and other sweets. The beach has lots of loungers, with a parasol for every two beds, and the mattresses were good quality. Our room was quiet, with a lovely mountain view from the balcony, a well-stocked fridge, and everything we needed. The bed and pillows were great. Five stars from me!

I really appreciated how well the team looked after us at Rixos Premium Tekirova. Service exceeded my expectations: housekeeping kept the suite in great shape, and the beach and pool teams were well organized despite the seasonal adjustments. The staff were attentive, professional, and supportive throughout. Ms. Merve Cetin from guest relations and Mr. Serdar, a Front line officer, deserve special thanks for helping us before arrival. They arranged the right room for my family and a sea view upgrade, which made a real difference. Rixie Kids Club was also outstanding, with a fun, well-organized space for children. Breakfast was excellent. Lunch and dinner leaned more toward Western and European food, though, and a wider choice of authentic Turkish dishes would improve the experience for guests looking for local flavors. Overall, it was a very positive stay, and I'm grateful for the team's hospitality.

We spent a week at the resort and were kindly upgraded to a suite, which was a nice gesture. We'd originally booked a deluxe room overlooking the resort and pool, with the sea beyond. The suite was bigger but didn't have the view we wanted. It wasn't a huge issue, so we stayed. The pool temperature was good and the gym was well equipped, but there weren't many games or activities, and they were often full. The buffet also got repetitive, with similar dishes, bland flavors, and little variety. Many items, including the meatballs, mixed lamb and beef, which left us with fewer choices because we don't eat beef. Across our 14 meals, we had roast lamb just once. I expected more from the food while visiting Turkey. Most staff were friendly, but a dinner incident on Sunday, 5th April, spoiled my evening. The restaurant was busy and we couldn't find a table, so we sat at one with used glasses still on it. I politely asked a staff member, whose photo is attached, for cutlery and to have the table cleaned. He snapped at a colleague in Turkish, then told me, “I am not Superman…” and said he'd come shortly. I was shocked, especially with other guests watching. It felt disrespectful, and honestly, I think he might have treated me differently if I were white. He didn't return, so we got the cutlery ourselves. As we were nearly done eating, he came to clear the glasses and casually asked if everything was okay. For me, this felt like a four-star resort rather than a five-star one.
