Foleya Mountain Resort

The restaurant was a highlight for us, especially the grilled food, and the mountain views are breathtaking. Getting to some rooms means climbing quite a few stairs, though a few villas are on ground level. The rooms could use some updating to feel more like a 4/5 star resort. The amenities were out of order because there weren’t enough staff to operate them. We were told they’d open early the next morning, then told they were wet and unsafe to ride. After checkout, we drove 15 min south so the kids could play at another zipline and playground.

My husband and I got diarrhea and severe abdominal pain after eating exclusively at their restaurant. We’re sick now and taking medication. I’d urge them to pay more attention to cleaning. I won’t be back.

We spent 6 days here and plan to return. It’s a lovely escape into nature, with a cozy, nature-inspired design and a great atmosphere. The staff were super responsive, and the food was tasty.

The food was delicious, and the location is beautiful and relaxing. The staff and management were so kind and helpful, especially Mr. Kamel and Akif. I’ve been coming to Trabzon for over 10 years, and this was my 6th stay here. It’s easily the best hotel in the area for me.
