The restaurant has a lovely view and a very friendly, polite team, and breakfast was delicious. There’s also a play area there that my daughter enjoyed, especially because the woman looking after it was so kind with kids. Getting to the restaurant with a stroller was a little tricky, though; we had to turn around and approach from the other side. We stayed in a beautiful vintage villa with a great balcony where we could eat and the kids could play. It’s a quiet, peaceful place for relaxing, and the drive up to the hotel is high, with a nice experience along the way. Our room got cold at night. Service was good: when we asked them to rake the fire, someone came and did it. It was a nice experience.

The setting is stunning, and my summer visit was wonderful. I went back in winter too, but I wouldn’t recommend staying then: the rooms are uncomfortably cold, and lighting the chimney fills the whole room with smoke. The service leaves a lot to be desired.

You can barbecue and relax in the many seating spots behind the restaurant. It’s a great escape from the city noise, surrounded by green spring scenery, and the elevated location gives you views over the whole city and the Black Sea. The restaurant’s half ring shape adds to the experience.

The view is fantastic, and the staff made the stay more comfortable and fun, especially receptionist Mr Usama and Ayham. At night, following the Google Maps route can take you to blocked roads. The signs at the junction help, and if you still can’t find the way, contact the owner, who may come out halfway to meet you.
