CHM Konaklar Apart

We felt welcome as tourists in a new country from the moment we arrived. Ismail, Ali, and the rest of the staff were easy to talk to and helped us out during emergencies. The location is ideal, close to meydan and an easy walk to lots of shops and restaurants. Young travelers and families would both be comfortable here. The rooms are open and spacious, with calming furniture colors, so they don’t feel cramped. I stayed in five or six hotels on this vacation, and this was my best experience. Well done, and very deserving of five stars.

We were exhausted that night and accepted a small discount to take an underground room, but it was damp, dark, smelly, and had mold. We had booked two weeks ahead and expected a comfortable room based on the feedback. The host said there were no upstairs rooms available, asked us to cancel the booking and pay cash, then offered the underground room. He is polite and speaks very persuasively, but I wouldn’t trust him. Check the room carefully.

CHM Konaklar Apartments has spacious rooms, a nice neighborhood, and friendly staff. It’s near the main road and Trabzon Airport, but we didn’t hear noise. A few things to know: there’s no elevator, so the upper floors may be difficult if your knees hurt. I noticed some insects in the apartment, though they were harmless. Daily cleaning is available if you ask. Highly recommended.

Good value for the money. The rooms are neat and clean, and the location works well when you need somewhere near the airport while traveling.
