Trabzon Gloria Suite Hotel

At first I felt the hotel food could be better. After spending 3 days in Trabzon, though, I realized the food around the region was generally awful and pricey.

The staff and cafe were kind and helpful. I stayed for a week, and everything was perfect.

The staff were polite and good, and my room was clean. Breakfast was average, and I left feedback asking them to improve it. There's only one elevator for the whole hotel, and the passage between rooms is very tight. It was recently classified as a 4 star hotel, but as of July/ 2024, the service still felt like 3 stars.

The location is excellent and the rooms have everything needed, but the hygiene was far below an acceptable level. The linens looked dirty, likely not cleaned since the previous guest, and there were coffee and other stains on the walls and floor. I told the bellboy as soon as I entered. They offered another room, but it was no better. I asked for a full or partial refund so I could move elsewhere, and the managers/owners said they couldn't give one. Worst experience of my life.
