Verula City Luxury Villa

The price was outrageous, and what we got felt like a complete rip-off: we booked 8 beds but were given 6. The place was dirty and there was no kettle. The bar isn't suitable for families, and the motorcycle and market noise was unbearable. If zero stars were possible, that's what I'd give. It doesn't deserve even one.

The apartment's location near the square was convenient, and it had a washing machine and dishwasher. The owner provided good service, but the problems inside made the stay very poor, and I can't recommend it. The weak internet and lack of anyone to help with luggage were frustrating. The Booking.com photos also didn't show the apartment accurately. In the bathroom there was no exhaust fan, and the kitchen was so dimly lit that working there at night was impossible. The bedroom doors were old and noisy, with no soundproofing, so sounds from other apartments carried through. Sunlight came straight through the curtains, making sleep difficult. The sitting area curtains were broken; I contacted the owner, who apologized but didn't offer a fix. The air conditioners were old, small, noisy, poorly maintained, and not powerful enough to cool the apartment. They also leaked water into the room.

I felt at home here, and the staff were especially helpful and attentive. The location was also very convenient, close to transport, hospitals, beaches, and other places. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Being right in the center of Trabzon Square made this my first choice for a family stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, with good privacy and a smart entry system. Both smart TVs were an excellent size. The host was polished, helpful, efficient, and spoke fluent English. Many thanks to him.
