Vista Living Apartments

The apartment was filthy and awful. They don’t change the sheets, and at the end of your stay you’re expected to carry your trash to the far end of the street. The receptionist was rude and disrespectful to an older man, and kept knocking on our door until 11:30, even though check-out was said to be at 1:00. He threatened us with the Turkish system and used a lot of profanity. The location is very isolated, with no nearby shops, restaurants, or other services.

From the fourth floor, the view takes in both the runway and the sea. The apartment is new, clean, spacious, and right across from the airport roundabout, with an excellent location and a relatively reasonable price. Plane noise could bother some people. There’s no parking, and the street is very narrow. The bathroom has no shower, and a small extractor fan leaves an unpleasant smell.

The apartment was spotless, with new, comfortable furnishings, and being right beside the airport was a real plus. We managed to reach the city center easily without a car: minibuses go in both directions right below the hotel, and we used taxis a couple of times. We’re especially grateful to Mr. Sinan at reception, who was very helpful when we had to check in at midnight. We were very pleased with everything.

Although the rooms were new, the cleaning could have been much better. There were greasy hand marks around the kitchen, and we were moved out of our room despite extending our stay for another three nights. The apartment is convenient for the airport, though a bit far from the city for sightseeing. It was okay overall, and I’d recommend it if they sort out the cleaning.
