We’ve stayed here twice, and the sea views from many rooms are lovely. Breakfast is very nice, and they’ll make local dishes such as muhlama, which is especially great since breakfast is included at a low price. It’s also a handy base for driving around the region. Manager Ihsan took great care of us and really helped when we realized at the airport that we’d left something important in our room.

The people working here were especially welcoming, and Duygu was patient and polite when she helped me make a reservation by phone. The apartment itself was clean and inviting. I definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Trabzon.

White Golden Suite Hotel made for a pleasant, welcoming stay. It’s in the newer part of town, away from the noise, traffic, and chaos of the old city, but still near the places you need and want to see. The staff were excellent. Duygu especially speaks English well, and always smiled while helping with questions about getting to local sights.

The apartment had two terraces, plenty of space, and a bright, elegant feel in a new building. It came with a fridge, kettle, water, tea, coffee, shampoo, soap, and towels. Cleaning was offered daily, and the breakfast was filling and tasty, with different options each day. The cook station made eggs to order, alongside cheeses, fruit, jams, cheese sticks, fries, salads, halva, cookies, juice, Turkish tea, and instant coffee. The woman at the cook station was welcoming and always smiling. The staff were helpful and made us feel secure. Since we arrived before check-in, they gave our whole group breakfast for free. They also kept our luggage for about five days while we traveled to other cities, which I’m very grateful for. The reception guys even looked after my baby when he wandered out of the apartment alone. There are convenience stores nearby, and restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets just a few meters away. It’s about 10 minutes from Trabzon Maydan, the airport, and Forum Mall. The building is on a hill, so having a car helps. There was only one mirror, in the bathroom. The bathroom needed more attention: the surfaces and walls were streaky, with mold in some corners, so I had to buy cleaner. Daily cleaning seemed to mean topping up shampoo and toilet paper only. I would have liked trash bins in the rooms and more tissues beyond the bathroom supply. Sheets were clean but some had old stains, and I’d prefer them and the bedding changed daily, not only when they got dirty.
