Grand Alver Otel

The room was noisy through the night because the hotel is right on the main road, and the bathroom and toilet were cramped with broken drains. The balcony was filthy and had cigarette butts everywhere. There wasn't even tea or water, though luckily there was a gas station nearby. I feel like I wasted my money. Even for free, I wouldn't stay here again, and I don't forgive you. I was there for two nights. Apart from the receptionist, I didn't see any staff. They advertise breakfast, but the man who made it kept sleeping through it. At 10 on the first day, his phone woke him and he put together a small plate. At 10:45 the next day, I woke him, and he said breakfast had ended 15 minutes earlier, though the hours were 9:00-11:00. It felt like he was saying I shouldn't expect food after disturbing his sleep. Glad I didn't bring my family, this place is more like a shack than a hotel.

The sea view from my room was lovely, and the place was clean. I was traveling alone and had a really pleasant stay. Breakfast was filling and very good. I'd recommend this hotel.

The staff were warm and helpful, and we were satisfied after our one-night stay. The rooms were clean, though the furnishings are a little old. The breakfast was good, and it was a comfortable place for us as a family. One thing I forgot to tell the management when we left was that a smell came from the bathroom drain, so we had to keep the door shut before bed. Apart from that, no problems. It's worth considering.

We really enjoyed the family feel here. My father, my two brothers and I were welcomed very warmly, and the staff helped us out in lots of ways. The room was spotless, and breakfast was filling and more than enough. Being close to everything made getting around easy. Many thanks to the Grand Alver family. I'll definitely come back.
