Azure By Yelken Bodrum

We had a great time with the pools and water slides, which were fun for adults and children alike. The food was delicious and varied, and the hotel is well located for exploring the surrounding area. Azure By Yelken Hotel is a great holiday spot. The staff were very kind and helpful. Thanks especially to animation team member Teslime, who was friendly, full of energy, and did a wonderful job entertaining guests. Darts, yoga, and aqua gym were all organized in a great atmosphere. I highly recommend the hotel for a wonderful holiday!

We’ve just got home from our holiday and wanted to share a few positives. The beach is right next to the hotel, with plenty of sunbeds, and the beachfront snack restaurant and bar were super convenient. We loved having a few drinks after dinner while watching the sun go down. Every staff member we met was kind, courteous, and helpful, with great customer service. The Turkish bath and massage were a real highlight. We usually treat ourselves to a massage on holiday, but these were the best we've ever had. The two ladies who gave them were amazing, and I'd really recommend treating yourselves too! Stu and Ruubee

The food was delicious, and all the staff were so helpful. It's a new hotel and I had a really good experience there. The entertainment team were friendly, and I did lots of fun activities with them, including darts and aquagym. Thanks, Teslime, Ali, and Sevim. Everything was really perfect.

The staff we met were really nice and tried to help, even though most didn't speak English and we had a language barrier. The problems weren't always things they could fix, and they did their best, so we give them credit. The food was alright and edible, with pretty much the same meals every day and night. The burger and pizza at the sports bar were good. Bodrum town centre, our favorite day out, was a 35-minute drive away. We went as a group of young women. I had fun with my friends, which was the main thing, and we still laugh about some of the memories. But the hotel itself was questionable. We were already suspicious after looking at Google Street View and seeing how cheap and good value it seemed. Given the price of an all-inclusive stay, I can't be shocked it was more two-star than five-star. If you want luxury, good entertainment, a fun atmosphere, high-quality food, or what you'd expect from a five-star place, don't go here. There was no entertainment while we were there. On our last day, I think they started playing music from a speaker around the pool, but most nights we entertained ourselves in our room with our own music. Guests harassed us on most days and nights, even after we said we didn't want to talk. They kept staring, pulling chairs up to our table, and bringing friends over in a group who spoke in their language and pointed, trying to intimidate us. It made us uncomfortable and we stopped wanting to be in the main lobby, hiding in our room instead. This spoiled our stay from Saturday to Wednesday. Maybe staff didn't realize what was happening, but nobody stepped in or really understood us. The guests' behavior may not be the hotel's fault, but if staff see this happening again, they should stop it so it doesn't spoil another group's holiday. The area we stayed in was still a construction site. They'd rushed to get our room ready, and although the decor was nice, it felt rushed and things were missing. We had to ask for a TV remote and an air conditioning remote. The telephone electrics didn't work, so we couldn't contact reception, and the water was sometimes yellow. There was concrete and mess all through the hallway. There were holes in the ceilings in most of the rooms we went into, including the indoor pool, and the lobby leaked every day. It seemed like the hotel shouldn't have been open until the construction and repairs were finished. The massage was a questionable experience for us too. If you want to spend your hard-earned money on a nice holiday, I'd tell family and friends to go somewhere else.
