Leslion Hotel Turunc

Our family, me, my wife, and our sons aged 17 and 20, loved this quiet hotel and would definitely come back. It’s tucked away, so if you want loud entertainment and more of an English feel, this isn’t the place for you. The staff are friendly and helpful, though they don’t speak much English, so Google Translate comes in handy. The guys at the terrace bar speak a little more, but still not much. The traditional Turkish breakfast is delicious, with lots of choice, fresh food, amazing honey and honeycomb, and freshly baked cakes. Don’t expect an English cooked breakfast. Many Turkish guests stay here, so it makes sense that breakfast caters more to them. The terrace pool has a bar where you can order food. There’s also a smaller pool on the ground floor, which we didn’t use. The terrace bar has wonderful sea and mountain views. My advice to the owners is to promote it, open the BBQ areas, and improve the menu to bring in more business. Our attic bedroom was compact because of its low ceiling. It had two bedrooms, an under counter fridge with a small freezer compartment, a balcony overlooking the pool, a bathroom, and very comfortable memory foam beds. There are no lifts, so expect lots of stairs to the rooms and terrace pool. We needed water after the long transfer from the airport, and the welcome included plenty to drink. The hotel does have some maintenance issues, and the new owners are updating it, but it wasn’t shabby and we had no problems. We loved it and didn’t want to go home. We can’t wait to return to the leslion hotel and see how it develops.
