Anatelein Boutique Cave Hotel - Special Class

We had a good view and the location worked well, though I’d rather stay in Ortahisar, where there are more places to hang out within walking distance in the evening. The rooms were clean, and room service was good. There was no air conditioning. Breakfast was okay, and it was a good effort, but as a Turk I wasn’t that impressed. It was cold outside, so eating breakfast outdoors was tough.

The café just in front of the hotel has an amazing view. It snowed during our stay, which made everything feel magical. The hotel doesn't overlook the hot air balloons, but the view of Uçhisar Castle is beautiful, and our room had a lovely traditional feel. The owner and staff were friendly and helped us with everything. Aslıhan especially helped us book a hot air balloon ride at a great price.

We had a really nice stay at Anatelein. The food was good, and Haaci from the hotel was very helpful and gave excellent service. Highly recommended!

The place looks nice, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you need a good night’s sleep. Music blared until 1am or possibly later, and even after I asked staff twice to turn it off, they didn’t. The rooms had no air conditioning, there was no hot water in the shower, and there was no maid service. The first morning, the cheese had mold on it; the second morning, the olives did. Moldy food on two different days left me seriously doubtful about the hotel’s hygiene. Service was completely absent, and the few staff members there seemed totally incompetent. The whole experience was pathetic.
