La Fairy Cappadocia

The room was clean and roomy, with a lovely valley view and balloons at sunrise. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the stairs leading up through the hotel. The building itself was beautiful. The young man at reception, who has a French GF, was especially friendly and helpful, though I’m sorry I can’t remember his name. Thanks to him and the owner for the gift on our last night.

The staff were the best, so kind, welcoming, and ready to help. The hotel itself was peaceful, charming, and clean, with a great breakfast and beautiful views of Uchisar castle, nature, and the balloons. It’s close to the castle but away from the noise and narrow streets. One of my best stays, and it felt magical.

Fen, the adorable orange cat, visited our room every day and completely won us over. We loved the warm, personal hospitality at La Fairy, and our cozy honeymoon room had a beautiful view of the hot air balloons each morning. At breakfast, Enes greeted us every day and made wonderful coffee and tea. Chef Sibel prepared delicious eggs daily and added a special dish or two, so breakfast always had some variety. Ali was there to help on the night shift, and Nilufer was the sweetest, quickly bringing any amenities we needed. We’d love to return and would recommend La Fairy to anyone visiting Cappadocia.

Breakfast was a generous, tasty Turkish spread with olives, cheeses, bread, eggs, tomatoes, and fruit. One morning we even shared it with a mama cat and her kittens. Our room stayed cool and quiet, with a cozy bed, hot water, and a window view that felt like a fairytale. After exploring the valleys and underground cities, it was nice to shower off the dust and sit on the terrace with tea as the sun went down. The staff were relaxed, kind, and helpful without hovering. The location worked well for visits to Kaymaklı Underground City and the Göreme Open-Air Museum. La Fairy felt like part of the honey-colored Cappadocia landscape, with comfort and charm in a place carved into stone. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.
