Stone Owl Hotel

Hospitality stood out most. They even let us check in early. The place was cozy and clean, near restaurants, a bus stop, and everything else. The room had toiletries, a heater, and a kettle, and there was an all-you-can-eat breakfast. Highly recommend.

There was Wi-Fi with a different router for each room, and the connection was great. The owner was also happy to give directions for hot air balloon services, nearby restaurants, or other places to go. He shared stories and religious background about scholars like Yunus Emre, which I really enjoyed listening to. He's an extremely nice person, and I hope everyone is kind to him. When we visited, the employees were on a break, so the owner was the only one looking after us. His one-man show was still amazing. The breakfast was extremely tasty, the rooms were comfortable, and the bathroom was great, with a cool vibe. If you go in spring, more employees will be there to make the five-star experience even better. The open roofless area beyond the rooms gave the building a unique feel. I hadn't seen another hotel do that before, and it felt special.

The hosts were lovely, friendly, always smiling, and ready to help with anything. They even helped us rent a car at a great price. Breakfast was delicious and served on the spacious rooftop terrace. The hotel sits on a quiet street, 450 meters from Uchisar Castle and 400 meters from the main Nevsehir-Goreme road, where there's a bus stop. A great base for exploring Cappadocia.

We had booked Flora stone house, but because of renovation there, they moved us to this hotel. The room was spacious and had a jacuzzi. The terrace was lovely for breakfast on a sunny day or relaxing at sunset. Breakfast was good overall, and the staff were really friendly. The location was great, just a few minutes' walk from the castle and main streets.
