Uchisar Kaya Hotel - Special Class

We spent a lot of the day relaxing by the pool. It's a little dated, like the hotel, but perfectly nice, with plenty of shade. The bar food and drink were great, and drinks kept coming whenever we wanted. Staff were professional, though some were friendlier than others, and everyone did a good job. Breakfast was great, service was efficient, and food and drink were available 24/7. The town is an easy, pleasant short walk away, with lots of restaurants and bars, many with spectacular views. It looks like a lot of investment is going into the town, and we'd like to return. Our stay was lovely and very relaxing. The hotel has wide views over the region's fascinating geology and archaeology, and you can see caves from the rooms. It's perfectly situated for enjoying that scenery. The hotel is dated, and our room was small for two adults and a small child, so it felt tight, though we managed. It was clean, with good air conditioning, comfortable beds, and powerful showers with warm water.

The location is excellent for watching the air balloons, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We received some of the best service too. Anil and Omer, thanks for all your help!

We really liked having a full week here and taking Cappadocia at an easy pace. The room worked well for our family of three, and the indoor and outdoor pools had fantastic views of Uchisar Castle and the stone caves. Meseeret at reception was especially lovely and helpful. She arranged all our sightseeing, and the rest of the staff were friendly too. We also enjoyed the food. The hotel is close to town and Goreme, with Uchisar Castle within walking distance. The streets felt safe and were well lit at night, and taxis were easy to find. It was brilliantly hot during our stay, so the air conditioning was great. The bathroom was fine, though the flush could use more pressure. The curtains let in too much morning sun and could do with an update. For us, it still felt like a five star stay, and we left very happy.

Anil and Omer made this my best stay in Cappadocia. They were so helpful throughout, with wonderful service and guidance. Many thanks to them both!
