Alexander Cave House

Tucked away and a little out of the way, this small hotel had very friendly staff. It was chilly at night because the heating wasn’t working, though they did have a space heater. There was also a water station in the lobby for making tea and coffee. I’d still come back.

The rooms are stylish and very nice, but the cleaning needs more attention. Our room hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived, so I asked, and a woman came to help. I also think the heater may have been why the hot water wasn’t enough. Better cleanliness would make a difference.

I can’t forgive myself for choosing this place. It was awful and definitely didn’t feel like a hotel. The rooms, and the whole property, smelled. Shame on tatilbudur for advertising it to us.

The room was filthy, with cobwebs everywhere, and there wasn’t even hand soap in the bathroom. No hairdryer either. We asked for one and it took two hours for them to find and bring it. There was no hot water; when we asked, they said it had to come from far away and would be late. Giving this place 10 stars online and writing glowing reviews to mislead people is disgraceful. It’s a renovated house calling itself a “hotel.” Don’t be taken in by the label, and absolutely don’t stay here. NOTE: YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.
