Greed! At check-in there was no water available, which was disappointing. Then in the morning we asked for a glass of hot water with breakfast and were told it would cost 3 euros. This was just hot water, without tea or coffee.

The location was fairly central, which was the one good thing. I was there for one night as part of a group tour, and even that felt like one night too many. The bedding was damp, sockets were hanging off the wall, and the toilet seat wasn't attached. The food was awful, and even the tea was stewed so badly it couldn't be drunk.

The place has a charming atmosphere, but it needs to work much harder to be a proper hotel. The service was terrible and the food was awful. Even basic things in the room, like the bed, sheets, and TV, were very poor quality. The food was rubbish.

We were part of a package booked through a local travel company, and on checkout day our transfer bus left while my friend and I were a little late coming back from an excursion. The elderly manager and owner helped us reach the bus station, then ran after the bus and stopped it for us. When I asked what he'd charge to take us there, he kindly typed into my translator app, “Money is not everything, we are hospitable”. I can't thank him enough. We had to board in a hurry, so I'm leaving this review here. If I ever return to Cappadocia, I'll stay here.

Halil took really good care of us and even arranged a tour. The hotel is in an excellent spot, within walking distance of the city, and breakfast was healthy and good. Highly recommended.
