Stone Age Hotel

It was hard to get any sleep with the room so cold. The heating barely helped, and the thin hotel duvet wasn't enough, even with the blanket, which wasn't clean. We ended up sleeping in our socks. There was a bed and a bathroom with a toilet, but no towels or slippers, despite being told the room would be cleaned every two days. No breakfast either, so it really was only somewhere to sleep, and even that was difficult.

The beds were uncomfortable, with springs poking through, and the staff seemed indifferent: they handed over the keys and left. There was no air conditioning or refrigerator, and service and hygiene were awful. The building has history, but so much has been changed that its original character has been compromised. I hate to criticize a business, and this is the first time I've done it. We should value our city's buildings and history. Visitors from other countries admire Türkiye, and they deserve better than this. Turkish people are a unique nation in the world. Please take these concerns seriously. I don't think the hotel lives up to what it deserves either, but with some effort it could become unparalleled.

For the price, it's reasonable if all you need is a place to stay. It's fairly clean, but there's no service, and they didn't even leave towels in the room.

We asked to switch because our first room felt stuffy. The replacement was cold and damp, and with no hot water we had to go back to the original room. That room had cigarette butts on the walls, which had been left there; we asked them to clean it again. We don't smoke and felt very uncomfortable. Smoking is prohibited, but neither room had a fire detector. The owner said there was one, but I checked both rooms myself. It's not as if it was a hidden camera. There was also a lot of hair on the bed. We both woke up feeling sick from the cold and damp. We decided not to stay a second night and asked for our money back. They initially refused, but we insisted and left with the refund. I had handed over money at the room for an extra 4-5 hours. After we left, the extension request for the second day was approved, and the charge was taken from my Airbnb card again, even though they hadn't answered that request earlier. EVERYTHING WAS VERY WORST.
