We stayed just one night and were generally pleased. The hotel is central, with a lovely garden that's nice to sit in, and our room and bed were clean. But our room faced the main street, so the nighttime noise was an issue. The sound insulation could be better. Breakfast was fine, though we'd have preferred an open buffet instead of having to pick things up from the kitchen where the owners were standing. A breakfast service ending at 11 rather than 10.30 would also be better. Thank you.

We still talk about the whole experience at this historical place. The hotel was clean and great, with lots of ancient items around, and the kind, helpful staff made us feel like we were in historical Turkey, in CAPPADOCIA in Urgup and the surrounding area. The trip felt like going back centuries, with attractions like a Balloon above the area of ancient Cappadocia. It's a must for anyone who wants that feeling. The owner was incredibly rude and yelled at us for not being ready at 11am checkout. Nobody had told us the checkout time, and we'd assumed it was 12h noon, as it usually is. Then he blamed us because the next guests were waiting, even though check in time is at 14h. The whole experience was so bad we went back to Istanbul and cut our stay short. We heard the pipes every time someone flushed, the WiFi was so slow we could barely browse the Web, and the shower head holder didn't work, so I had to hold it the whole time. Worst hotel experience, and worst hotel in Cappadocia. Avoid at all cost.

A quiet, cosy boutique hotel in Ürgüp, with delicious breakfast, especially the homemade food. Mert, one of the hotel's executives, helped us arrange a Göreme tour, a balloon tour, and an ATV at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.
