Fermaki Rooms - Adults Only

We had a great stay at Fermaki, which has a lovely atmosphere and restaurant. The sea view from our room was amazing, and there’s public access to the seafront for free. Breakfast, the "serpme kahvaltı," had so many choices that we ate far too much. The hotel and rooms are nicely designed. Our room was a little small, but fine for the price range. There were a couple of minor issues: no counter beside the sink, and the minibar made odd noises. Breakfast starts quite late, so we couldn't have it on our flight day.

They welcomed me after the horrific earthquake and let me stay for more than two months, treating me with love and dignity so I never felt alone or like a stranger. I can't thank them enough for that kindness and generosity, and I hope to visit again one day 🌹🌹🌹. The hotel was beautiful and immaculate, with comfortable rooms, lovely decor, and attention to detail throughout. The restaurant food was outstanding, full of flavor and expertly made. Eren at the bar was friendly and productive, and his cocktails always hit the spot. Ufuk and Sercan were also so kind and brought warmth to my stay. The rest of the staff were welcoming too, even if I can't remember all their names. Sude, the cashier, was especially kind, and I have no doubt she'll do great things. These were the most generous hosts I've met, and the restaurant, hotel, hospitality, and atmosphere are all ones I'd highly recommend to anyone visiting Turkey.

We happened to drive past and decided to stop in. It was quiet, and I liked how spacious the place is, with rooms for guests as well. I didn't check the rooms this time, but I'll make sure to next visit 😄. The breakfast was the reason I came, and I'd like to try it again. The service was amazing, much better than I expected, and they paid attention to everything I asked for, even though it wasn't much. The bread was stale, which was disappointing, but the pisi was fresh. I also tried a cheese I hadn't had before, and it was quite alright. It's clean and seems suited to dinner too, and comfortable in winter. Definitely give it a try!

Update: all the places at Urla iskele have changed now. They moved them away from the sea after the mayor changed the look of this coast, and it's much better now. The cafe sits right by the sea, so watch out when there's a tide 😅. The seats could be cleaner. They have lots of drinks and food, though some weren't available when we went because they'd just opened. My cinnamon Latte was delicious, and so were the potato plates.
