There’s free parking, and the old town of Urla is about a 10-minute walk away. Rooms are spacious and clean, with a living room, bedroom, and bathroom in the standard setup. There was plenty of shampoo, soap, slippers, and a peeling loaf. Turkish breakfast is included and starts at 9 am. The garden is roomy, but there’s no reception desk or proper entrance to the rooms. You go in through the garden door.

The design and upkeep of Urladam had made us expect a lot, so it was sad to leave disappointed after four nights last week with a group of friends. We had issues in several areas, including the arrival and departure of our guests. The rooms were poorly decorated and weren’t cleaned unless we asked. There were used toilet paper rolls, and both breakfast and service were very mediocre.
