DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Van

The staff were really helpful and moved us to a much bigger room with an extra bed at no added cost. The restaurant was fabulous too, with great-quality food, including steak or lamb chops for under USD 15. Breakfast had a real variety of food, unlike other places that serve only cheap items. After staying a few nights at other hotels in Van, Hilton felt like the only true five-star hotel in the city. I wouldn’t waste time looking at places like Elite world or others.

We stayed for two nights, and the room was clean with a very good view. The service was good, and everything was in good, clean condition. The food was perfect, especially, you must try the calamari fish. Thanks to everyone who works here and to the manager.

I’ve never felt so at home in a hotel, and I’ll definitely come back. While travelling with my disabled father, we ran into problems and the staff helped us with every one of them, even with things we wouldn’t expect at this price range. The service was absolutely fantastic. Thank you to all the staff, and I hope to see you again soon.

The gym is fine and breakfast is good. For a one-night stopover, this is one of the least bad choices, since there aren’t any good hotels in Van. But on 15th May the air conditioning was still stuck on heating, so the rooms were hot. There’s a four-lane highway outside, and the road noise makes it impossible to sleep with the windows open.
