We had to move rooms three times because of a leaking ceiling, a broken fan, and a window that stuck and was never fixed. There was no AC, which made summer unbearable, and we were wrongly told that no hotels in Van have it. The rooms were dirty and had no soundproofing, so getting any rest was impossible. The location felt unsafe and was very unclean. On arrival, the Iranian receptionist was incredibly rude, though the Turkish receptionist was pleasant. I absolutely don't recommend this hotel.

At checkout, I asked to pay by card, but the receptionist made a funny face and all my cards were declined. They insisted on cash, so I had to run around the streets looking for an ATM. For a cheap hotel, I still expected them to try harder to make the stay pleasant. It wasn't pleasant at all. The breakfast was basic and repetitive. The bread wasn't fresh, and you had to ask for instant coffee because they kept it hidden from guests. The staff weren't very friendly either. When we asked for fresh towels and one extra, they firmly refused. There were two adults and a child in our room, but towels and bedding for only two. The rooms are spacious, but the furniture and interior are below standard. Bathrooms barely ventilate, leaving the suite damp after a shower, and the toilet seat was broken.

Breakfast was really good, and the room was clean and warm. The bed was super comfortable, and the shower had nice hot water. Everything was perfect!

I spent three nights here and couldn't have asked for better. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff friendly, and there was private free parking that felt safe. The breakfast was excellent too. This hotel was a pleasant surprise and great value for money. Highly recommended.
