We came for lunch and drinks as non residents and were made to feel very welcome. The sunbeds were free to use, and we stayed for three hours. There wasn’t loud music like at the hotel next door, though we know some people enjoy having background music.

The best part for our kids was being able to spend a week outside with sticks, stones, and sand instead of sitting at a computer. They had interesting children to play with on the little beach, and we enjoyed long conversations with Turkish and international guests with sophisticated backgrounds. The food was excellent, too. The chef had years of experience at Divan Hotel. We live in Washington DC and visit Turkey every year because we love it and see it as one of Europe's best holiday destinations. We stayed at this small hotel last year and loved it. There were about 12-15 rooms, and the guests seemed to be of a similar caliber. I rated it “good” because the rooms were modest but clean. They said they planned to renovate over the winter, so maybe this year I’d rate it “very good,” as we’re going back.
