Ramada by Wyndham Yalova

The rooms are large and the hotel is very close to the city center. Reception staff were polite, respectful, and extremely helpful. Zeyneb Su, Sena, Resat, and the others made our stay special, and overall it was good. The breakfast selection could be better, and a self-service laundry facility would be a useful addition.

I'm here for work and have been staying for the last month. The hotel restaurant has excellent food, attentive service, and friendly, smiling employees who are ready to help. The menu suits tourist tastes while still including Turkish cuisine. I've stayed at three other hotels in Yalova, and this is easily my favorite. It's close to the city center, so it's handy for walks and trips to the market and restaurants. Even the standard rooms are large, modern, and comfortable, with a good bed, bathroom, and small living area. They have all the essentials for daily life.

I've stayed at this hotel for years, but the way the staff handled my last visit shocked me. Two weeks beforehand, I called to book a smoking room and asked whether I needed to pay in advance. They told me the booking was confirmed and that payment wasn't needed until arrival. I called again the day before to check, and they confirmed the smoking room. But when I arrived, they said all smoking rooms were booked. When I mentioned the reservation, they said they couldn't confirm anything before arrival. So all those calls had been a waste of time. I went to Park Inn instead, five minutes away by car, with a better location and very nice staff. I won't stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was decent, but it didn't feel like a five-star place. The TV in my room didn't work, there were dirty cups in the hallway outside my room, and the minibar handle was loose and scraping the wood beneath it. The desk was too small for studying. I hope they pay more attention to these things from now on. I don't think I'll come back, sorry.
