The cappuccino was a lovely surprise. We’re from the Netherlands, where good espresso coffee is easy to find, and this was the best we had in all of Fethiye. They use Lavazza beans, while everywhere else we came across only filtered coffee. Arwen Hotel is in a calm spot, away from the bustle, and the welcome from the start was warm and genuine. That feeling lasted through the whole visit. The team made us feel more like family than guests, and Ahmed’s hospitality was hard to beat. The hotel was spotless, towels were changed every day, which we especially appreciated after pool use, and laundry service was included at no extra cost. A note for families: the hotel generally doesn’t accept toddlers because the pool can be unsuitable for very young children, and the usual policy is 12 years and older. They made an exception for us, provided we kept a close watch on our son. We took that seriously, and had a wonderful stay. One night our toddler woke up hungry, and Ahmed immediately brought him a full meal, free of charge. It was genuinely delicious. The next morning our son got a little cake just because. Those gestures say a lot about the place. If you want a quiet, homely stay with staff who truly care about their guests, Arwen Hotel is a great choice. Highly recommended.

We’ve just come back from our seventh stay at Arwen Hotel, and we’re already wondering when to return. What brings us back each year is the hospitality. Ahmet is a fantastic host, always around, helpful, and genuinely keen for everyone to have a good stay. He listens, gives thoughtful suggestions, shares tips on places to eat and visit and how to get around, and even helped us book a car and arrange a boat tour. The hotel itself feels tucked into a quiet, natural part of Fethiye, away from noise and crowds. The pool is always clean, the rooms are cozy, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. It feels less like staying at a hotel and more like visiting a friend. We can’t recommend it enough.
