olive garden bungalow

We stayed with our family for 15 days and found the owners very attentive. The houses were clean, and it was nice to sit in the garden in the evenings and enjoy the barbecue. It’s quiet and peaceful, very close to the sea, and works well for families. A clean, reliable place we’ll recommend to friends and family. We’ll definitely return.

The setting was the best part for me: just four little houses in an olive grove, quiet except for the cicadas, with parking for four cars. There are two barbecues for cooking meat or fish. The beach is uncrowded, with a couple of cafes, loungers and umbrellas. It takes 8-10 minutes to walk there, and the sea is excellent and clean. The beach is mostly small pebbles and sand, but there’s a 3-4 meter pebble strip at the entrance. If you go right along the shore toward the cape and turtle section, both the beach and the sea entrance are sandy. Getting around without a car was inconvenient, though we chose the location ourselves. Having a car would have made everyday errands, like going to the store, much easier. The minibus to Fethiye is a 15-minute walk toward Tuana Hotel, crossing a small bridge over a little river. Near the stop there’s a cozy outdoor cafe by the river. The owner will even make you scrambled eggs, and they’re delicious. There’s also a small store nearby with groceries and household items. We stayed in the third cabin from the entrance. Kitchenware was sparse: three dinner plates, three small bowls, two teacups, two coffee cups, three spoons, three forks, a frying pan and a saucepan. We needed deep plates, small spoons, a teapot, a Turkish coffee pot, or at least another large cup. The electric kettle didn’t switch off when it boiled. The fridge was decent and had a freezer, while the stove was a single-burner electric one. There was no shower curtain, so water got all over the bathroom floor and we could only walk around in slippers. During our 9 days there, the room was never cleaned, and we took out the trash ourselves. For me, the location gets a 5 and the service a 3+, so an average of 4.

The veranda at night was lovely. We listened to the waves and birds while staying among the olive trees, and it made everything feel even more beautiful. It was a peaceful, attractive and comfortable holiday, just perfect. We’d recommend it to everyone and hope to come back soon :)
