Yilton Otel

We visited Yilton Hotel with friends in April 2025 to support Turkish animal rights activists, and were very happy with our stay. The hotel was clean, in a beautiful location, and we felt comfortable throughout. A special thanks to Metin for welcoming us so warmly and kindly.

The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s good value for money. A cafeteria would make it even better, but we were satisfied and would recommend it.

My regular hotel was full, so I spent one night here. It’s a former girls’ dorm converted into a hotel, and there’s no breakfast. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, and towels were spotless and smelled lovely. The bathroom, sink, and toilet were clean too, so I felt fine using them. There’s a fabric shower curtain instead of a cabin, which could stick to you while showering, though it didn’t bother me. Some things were less pleasant: on the third floor, the broken elevator door made me uneasy. The room had an ashtray full of cigarette butts, the window wouldn’t close properly because its handle was missing, and there were used towels and cotton swabs in the wardrobe. The radiators didn’t work, so we had to use the air conditioner for heat. Hot water for tea and coffee was available from the dispenser in the lobby, and I didn’t like that the room keys were left at the lobby buffet.

We came to support an animal welfare project, and the location worked perfectly for us logistically. Metin was warm and friendly, always ready to help, which made us feel very comfortable. The rooms were very clean, and even though I’m usually a poor sleeper, I slept really well because it was quiet. The value for money is unbeatable!
