Novotel Trabzon

Breakfast was very good, and the reception, gym, and breakfast area downstairs had recently been renovated. The rest of the grounds looked tired and unloved, though, and our room was in poor shape too. It wasn’t cleaned very well and had several stink bugs. We asked for a non-smoking room at check-in but got a smoking one. When we raised it with reception, they were dismissive and told us to try the room next door. There was no guest parking set aside at the hotel, and during a wedding we couldn’t park in the car park.

The location worked really well for us, with a small mall just a short walk away for shopping and essentials. Our room was spacious and clean, and the view made each morning special. The breakfast buffet was perfect, with lots of fresh, tasty choices. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff were warm and friendly. I had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.

As a Diamond member, I appreciated that my status was recognized, and the hospitality throughout the stay was warm. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. The staff were professional, welcoming, and always ready to help with a real smile. The service and atmosphere made the visit memorable, and I’ll be happy to return. Highly recommended!

Our two nights on March 22-23 were disappointing, and we wouldn’t choose to stay here again. The room felt dated, and the bathroom needs renovation. Although the entrance advertises the hotel as 5-star, the comfort, service, and hospitality didn’t feel up to that standard. There was no one to help with our luggage when we arrived. At reception, a staff member named Ceyhun repeatedly said “no” or that a service wasn’t available when we asked for help or information. We were told everything was “self-service,” but the way it was explained didn’t feel professional or welcoming.
