Cara Suites Hotel and Conference Centre

The rooms were nice, clean, and cool, and the patio was a lovely spot to work or just lounge. The Wi-Fi was good, and I could take video calls with very few interruptions.

I came back after a lovely overnight stay before. The sunsets behind the bar are always amazing, but the sun shines directly on the bottles. Management should consider a mechanically operated screen to block it, then raise it as the sun sets so the beautiful view is visible.

The ocean view is the best feature here, and the pool is lovely. I found the hotel's layout unique, and the quaint room suited our laid-back Christmas stay, even though it didn't have the latest fixtures. My family has made Christmas getaways a tradition over the last few years, and I came across this hotel through a Google search. There wasn't much foot traffic, so we didn't find the restaurant open on Christmas Eve, but breakfast the next morning made up for it. I'd recommend it for a weekend getaway.

The ocean view rooms are spacious, with a nice patio for relaxing. I just wish there were a small table between the two chairs. My bed sagged on one side, though I was only there for two days, so it didn't bother me much. Breakfast was the usual European style, and it'd be much better with more traditional Trini food. The lobby, bar, and pool areas were really nice, a great place to unwind. It was a good experience.
