Breakfast and dinner are available, and lunch can be made on request, which means it’s easy to stay and enjoy the setting. Beres Vale sits above Castara village, with a beautiful view of Castara Beach and the Caribbean Sea across the bay. The neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet. At dawn, you mainly hear birds calling in the hills, a lovely atmosphere for relaxing and being close to nature. Although the guesthouse is up high, stairs lead down the hill to the beach and waterfall. Guided sustainable tours are also available for visitors wanting to learn more about Tobago’s nature and culture. A good choice for beautiful views, quiet surroundings, modern comfort, and access to one of Tobago’s best-loved beaches.

The hosts were always around if we needed anything, which was a real plus. We had a peaceful stay, surrounded by nature, with sea views and sunsets adding to the calm. Our room was spacious and clean, with modern decor and a very comfortable bed. The host prepared fresh, delicious meals. The beach is down a steep hill but still walkable, and towels for the beach were provided.

Breakfast was a real treat each morning, with delicious food that clearly had care put into it. The hosts were courteous and attentive the whole time, and made me feel welcome and looked after from the minute I arrived at Beres Vale Apt. My room was spotless, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. It felt like a cozy place to come back to after a day out or a day relaxing. The stay exceeded my expectations, with comfort, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality all coming together. I’d gladly recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

The hosts and owners are the real highlight here. They’re delightful, friendly, and hospitable, and go out of their way for you. I can see the place getting better as they add features to match their vision. It’s a small group of mini apartments, each with a bedroom and little lounge-diner, up a steep hill close to Castara centre and beach. Breakfast and dinner can be ordered in advance. They’re currently expanding the property with a pool and more outdoor space. Everything was very clean and well maintained. I especially liked the open-plan bedroom and bathroom, and the view was great.
